Not too many choices in Astoria. This older motel is by the river and supposedly has been updated but we found the furniture to be worn and the bathroom to be very dated. No hairdryers was a real suprise. The breakfast consisted of sweet rolls and coffee but there is a McDonalds near by.

When our first choice for a Astoria hotel was full, we booked this unknown one. To our surprise, it has all the location features of the more expensive hotels and, in addition, a very cordial and professional staff. Our room on the second floor, facing the Columbia River, was adjacent to the river walkway and the trolley into downtown's museums, shops and restaurants ~ a few blocks away. The bridge was almost overhead, providing a spectacular view, and 101 was conveniently nearby, but far enough away that there was no traffic noise. The room and bath were clean and adequate for our stay. We will definitely return!

We spent one night here visiting the city and were very satisfied with the room, the location, and the price. We paid $75.00 plus tax for the night which included a continental breakfast.
The room was clean, recently redecorated, computer access good.

My wife & I (over 55) found the motel to be clean & comfortable, but over priced. It has been renovated, but they seem to have skimped on the bathroom a bit. Location is good. There is a pool & jacuzzi, but they are basic & quite plain. I always ask " would I stay there again" and I would if my usual haunts were not available. We were "walk ins" & had not booked ahead. Hope this helps.
