Extended Stay America hotels offer few amenities such as free breakfast and internet. But the price is low in an area of high-priced hotels. The hotel is clean, has a kitchenette and is within easy walking distance of the Jacksonville Riverfront. The staff is courteous and helpful. We were very pleased with our stay.

Generally run down. My first room stunk of smoke, so they put me in a new one quick. Staff great, too bad they have to work where they are! Not the worst, just needs a lot of TLC.

The reason we stayed at the hotel, was because of the Jacksonville - Titans game. We booked the hotel off priceline.. worst mistake. Let's start with the beginning.. THE SMELL is so bad, you can not begin to describe right when you walk into the lobby. The smell couninues into the elevator that is so dirty you do not want to touch the buttons to go up or down. The smell in the hallway reminds you of a wet dog. The room was just as bad worse in the morning! If you can get passed the dog barking in the next room, you can almost get passed the smell. If its something you need you better be sure you brought it with you. They offer you towels and washcloth and that is it. I have never been big on smells but even the bath essentials smelt bad. The furniture is old and scratched up, stains on the floor and walls need a good run down with some water and cleaner. The staff seemed friendly if you saw someone other then the girl behind the counter, who seemed very uneasy. The price for the hotel looking at it now seems very high. To be honest I felt like I was walking into a low income apartment building in the low part of town almost like you would see in a movie.. There is no way anyone would return for the second time after having to stay for the first time. I promise pay the extra money and stay somewhere else.

This hotel is not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination, but for the access to downtown/conference centers and local eateries this definitely worked out well.

Rooms were clean, hotel staff was friendly, and with a fridge, toaster, sink, and dishwasher in the room you can definitely save some money by making your own food if you are traveling on a tight budget.
