We stumbled on this hotel by accident and first thought we could do better (price and location) but realized as soon as we got off I-95 that was far from the truth. This hotel was right off the interstate and was easy to get in and out of.
We were there during a special event (Gator Bowl - go Bucks!) and expected less than stellar service, and were VERY surprised. First off, the front desk was AWESOME. I believe his name was Chris (a Raider fan) was right on top of it all, he treated us like we were his special guest. The rooms were clean and appeared taken care of, furnished well. The only thing that could have made it better would have been an in-room refrigerator. Now to the jewel of the property ... the breakfast and the "master chef" Kristen Woodall. I've spent a lot of nights in hotels and have experienced a plethora of breakfasts, NONE compare to hers.
In a word - WOW! Have you ever seen a breakfast that is not the same the next day (besides at home)? The main course was different ... and I don't mean pancakes one day and waffles the next. Yes, she deserves a special shout out for making our day! Our last breakfast came after an early morning "food fight" courtesy of some guests who don't know how to act in public. She managed to pull it all back together and make the best of what was not destroyed. Well done Kristen, well done!
