I visited Jacksonville over the Christmas week in order to visit my nephew who was receiving Chemo treatment. The hotel is about a mile from the hospital and was very convenient. Hotel was clean, has free parking and a great breakfast. Coffee and tea is available 24/7. The staff was very pleasant and we enjoyed talking to the front desk and the cleaning ladies. The hotel will probably need a refurbish in the near future, but do not let this scare you away. If you are visiting the hospital, be sure to ask for the discount. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.

This appears to be an older property in comparison to some other Hampton Inns but it was neat and clean and the front desk staff were great. We stayed here before boarding a cruise ship and enjoyed it. There is a restaurant and wine bar across the street called the Wine Cellar and it was very convenient to just be able to walk across to it and there were several others within walking distance too. The manager Chris was nice and let us leave our car there for a couple of days. There is also a small outdoor pool it looked clean too but alas no jacuzzi but they do have jacuzzi rooms. I am sure that we will be coming down for a weekend or two again in the next few months and this location will do nicely for visiting the zoo and the riverfront.

Great beds, wonderful, helpful staff from front desk people to cleaning staff, all friendly and cheerful. Popcorn (fresh) in the evenings for our enjoyment!!! So appreciated!! Morning and evening desk staff helpful with sights to see and dining. Some homeless people around but staff quickly diverted them. Fekt safe and comfortable the whole time. Located close to expressways.

While the property is getting a little tired compared to newer Hampton Inns it is well within acceptable levels. Service and ammenties were all fine. Included breakfast was the same as any Hampton and the eating area was clean and maintained. Check in was efficient and very friendly.

The real treasure to this location is you are three minutes from downtown and you can walk to several great restaurants: Charthouse, Morton's or Ruth Chris. This is the real winner for me and why I'll stay here again.
