I booked this hotel at the last minute on my Mariott app on my phone. Got a good price in the the right place. Hot and heated pool were a bonus. The front desk staff was very friendly as was the one helping with breakfast.

I found this hotel and was able to use points from previous Marriott stays so I can't comment on value. I initially thought transportation from the airport to the hotel, the hotel to the port, and port back to airport was included, but on checkout was charged $20/person for this service. However, that is a lot cheaper than the cruise line tries to charge you, and also cheaper than a taxi I believe. The hotel itself is in a nice area. You can walk to Ruby Tuesday's or some other nearby steakhouses. The hotel was clean. Our rooms was a little bit outdated but was clean and comfortable. We did not hear other guests, so it was a quiet sleep at night as well. Check in and out was extremely easy and quick. The breakfast was very nice. I was impressed by all the choices. The woman working the breakfast room was very helpful to everyone. She did a great job and it was obvious she is working hard to please the guests at the hotel. The transportation provided to the cruise port and back to the airport was quick and easy. The shuttle service arrived almost right away after we called, and it was also there on time for departure to the cruise in the morning. I would recommend this hotel for a stay before a cruise to anyone.

I would have to say it was one of the nicest hotels i have ever stayed at. Staff was very nice and helpful. Pillow were most comfortable. Breakfast was by far the best part :)

My husband, family and I stayed a night here before embarking on our family cruise. The hotel staff, location, amenities and service were phenomenal!! Lorraine Smith and her coworker (sorry did not catch her name) were outstanding with their breakfast service the next morning!! Lorraine even drove us to the airport after our checkout. The staff made us feel SO welcome!! The hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport, transported us back when we were ready to leave and even took us to the mall the day before leaving. We will DEFINITELY return to The Fairfield Inn Jacksonville Airport should we be in the area again!!
