This Bed and Breakfast is my preferred lodging in Jacksonville FL. It resides on the St. John's River, which affords spectacular sun rises and moon rises, not to mention birds and fish. I like the rooms, which are interesting and comfortable. The food is good, and some of it is harvested from the innkeepers' organic garden. The innkeepers are knowledgeable and extremely helpful, always very welcoming. Their care of their guests always goes above and beyond.

Jacksonville in February, not going for the sunshine but property owners, Victoria & Robert, delivered a warm and charming weekend. My wife and I couldn't ask for better hosts and accomodations. Thanks.

I am a monk and while leading a mission in Jacksonville my brother monk and I stayed at this wonderful B&B. It's a beautiful location with great scenery. As well, the accomadations were great. Rooms were comfortable, in excellent clean conditions, and the bathrooms, reminded me of my grandmother's old home. The proprietors as well were lovely to stay with. Very gracious hosts. There was also great breakfasts to look forward to every morning while we were there. I would recommend this to anyone and plan on coming back hopefully sometime soon.

My husband and I recently stayed at the House on Cherry St during a weekend visit to Jacksonville. We are a young, married couple and brought another couple with us. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, and its' rooms are meticulously maintained. On our first night we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset on the dock overlooking the St. John's River, followed by a relaxing morning sitting in the garden. While visiting we enjoyed fantastic breakfasts and the warm and genuine hospitality of the House's owners, Victoria and Robert. The House on Cherry St is a wonderful and relaxing get-away with a sense of Southern hospitality reminiscent of Scarlett O'Hara's Tara. We were all extraordinarily pleased with our stay and look forward to our next visit!
