This hotel seemed to have good reviews so we had high hopes. Unfortunately, room had a bad odor as soon as we walked in. Front desk said it was probably the cleaning chemicals but they really should do something about it if that is the case.
I am a professional and for work, had to use the wireless internet but it was painfully slow - speed of a turtle comes to mind. It took me ages to get any work done. Of note, the hotel was not busy and I even tried the internet at 6 am , to the same effect. Really useless!
Although I asked front desk about the pool hours, staff neglected to tell me the pool heater was broken. I only discovered that when I dived in - the water was freezing.
Was unhappy with this hotel.

Definitely loved this hotel. I was here for an interview at Mayo Clinic and the hotel offered free shuttle service. The facilities and rooms were very well kept and modern. The hotel was quiet and beds were comfortable. No complaints whatsoever.

After I returned from my trip to Jacksonville I noticed that the Wingate by Wyndham charged me an additional $107 for pillows and blankets they say I took from the room, I never took anything. I tried to explain to the manager that I didn't steal anything, but it did not matter he is still charging me $107 dollars and accusing me of theft. Do not stay here.

This is the first time that we have stayed at this location. We normally stay at the one on Lenior Ave. I made my reservation on December 19th & this location was just $3.00 more. When we arrived, there was no record of my reservation. I had my confirmation #. The staff was very helpful in getting it resolved. It took some time, but we were given a room any way. I give your staff a 10 for customer service!! I was also able to get a late check out. We come every 3 months for testing at Mayo clinic. We would stay there again!!
