If you like casual dining and taking in a movie, this is the place for you. There is a Tinseltown Movie Complex right next door, as well as a fabulous restaurant, 7 Bridges Brewery. Also located within walking distance are several other casual restaurants, including Ale House, Hooters, The Tilted Kilt, The Mellow Mushroom, and T.G.I. Fridays. There are several fast food choices as well. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would love to go back when the weather is warmer and take a swim in the small pool and relax in the sun. It is a lovely little setting. Will return ASAP!

I have the choice of several properties in this area of Jacksonville, and once I tried this Hilton Garden Inn, I didn't even bother to try the others. The rooms are fine, and the staff is EXCELLENT. Yes, they have made errors, such as giving keys to rooms that are already occupied, but that can happen anywhere. Daryl's service at breakfast makes it worth getting up in the morning. You are guaranteed to leave with a smile after interacting with him. Bridgette and Darlena at the front desk really know their stuff and are extremely personable. The one knock is no wifi in the rooms. It has supposedly been coming for quite a while.

I do around 100 room nights per year, mostly Hilton chain hotels.

This HGI is now a few years old, but is clean and shows only minimal wear. Rooms are standard HGI format, linens are crisp and fresh, etc. The hdtv's are larger than most hotels, but I could NOT get wifi on the 5th floor on either my iPhone or my iPad. The wifi issue is my only complaint with the property.

Stayed with the family, including a 4 year old...even though location is more for business the staff was very professional, courteous and attentive. Excellent location, many options to dine near by.
