Terrific option when visiting Jax. The hosts were accomodating and open but not obtrusive. The home is incredibly lovely--like staying in a well-furnished, historic period home. The room and bath was better than any hotel room. But the highlight has to be breakfast in the sun room--superb. We had a great and relaxing time. Highly recommend.

The downstairs is spacious. Breakfast was served in the charming sunroom and was fresh and delicious. The room was large and comfortable with nicely furnished bathroom and good plumbing. The hosts were very friendly. Good restauants are available locally. We would like to return.

We stayed here during our job hunt. The house is furnished elegantly, but comfortably. We visited during the Christmas season and the holiday decor was lovely. This house is located in the Historic district and is surrounded by wonderful old homes. The owners are friendly and the proprietess makes a wonderful breakfast in the morning. (In season, with citrus fruit from her own trees.) We would highly recommend this location for someone who wants to see the prettiest part of Jacksonville, short of driving to the beach. Close to downtown, shopping and great dining.
