The Super 8 was nice enough. The room was clean, no smells, no smoking. Front desk clerk was very helpful. We came on New Year's Eve. I don't see why anyone would want to stay in Grant though. We drove all over this town and couldn't find a restaurant to eat at! Snow removal was poor, the parking lot was very slick and not cleaned off. We finally decided to eat at Denny's, big mistake, you have to beg them to wait on you.....and good luck on finding the entrance to that restaurant. You go down a dead end, and there is a little sign at the end saying "enter at Walmart"????? Huh? Waited forever, never did get to order our food and left. The internet did work while here, but the pool was not open. The hot tub was so we sat in that. Grant is not the end of the world, but I am sure you can see it from there!

Other than having no internet-they said it was because of the weather-the room was clean, with lots of towels and shampoos and soaps. It was quiet for a Saturday night.
Breakfast was quite substantial. I would stay there again.

The marquee, in red, states a price single...In black, on another line, corporate cards accepted...Comes time to sign the folio it's ten bucks more... No, AAA or AARP do not qualify for simular discount. Asking how one obtains the required card...no straight answer...The Marquee reverse advertises pool & spa...Seemingly closed for the season ? There just might be more ethical options along the frontage road in Grants.

Made the reservation online, but checked on TripAdvisor. Not too bad of review. Well, the hallway smelled of smoke and we had smoke free room. The room wasn't very clean and gum on the carpet. The WiFi did not work! Breakfast waffle maker was gross with caked grease. You had to use Pam type spray, then the waffles still wouldn't come out of the machine. At check out asked for some $$ off because the WiFi didn't work, was told that's the way it is. Unattentive front desk staff, they were always talking to friends or other staff in the lobby. We won't stay here again, probably will stay at Holiday Inn Express.
