Brafferton is charming, the Innkeepers are wonderful, pleasant & extremely accommodating. Great location in town and close to everything by foot or by car. Delicious afternoon cookies, award-winning breakfast muffins & hearty breakfasts. The room was clean, spacious & well decorated. One of the most cozy weekends during a cold February!

We stayed for our third anniversary and were not dissapointed! We loved sleeping in the comfy bed, enjoyed our delicious breakfasts, and loved that we were walking distance to shops and attractions in the heart of Gettysburg!! Hope to return again soon!

Made plans to come back before departing, what could be more of a perfect review than that? The Inn is quite unique spanning several buildings on a prime block in the center of Gettysburg, offering plenty of little ‘nooks and crannies’ to investigate. Our accommodations couldn’t have been nicer nor more in keeping with the historic nature of Gettysburg – quiet, clean, well-appointed plus a gas fireplace offering a wonderful way to enjoy the winter weather outside (will look forward to appreciating the outdoor spaces in the spring). Breakfast was marvelous, with several options sure to satisfy any craving.

With a freshman at Gettysburg College, we’ll be looking forward to many more wonderful visits to the Brafferton.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway, so on a whim I booked us a suite at the Brafferton Inn and was not disappointed. Everything about our experience was lovely. The owners and staff are warm, welcoming, and helpful. Our suite offered the perfect environment for relaxation and rejuvenation. Between the enormous, comfortable king bed, fireplace, and Jacuzzi for two we walked away feeling refreshed and happy. We stayed in the Brafferton Suite, which is a few doors down from the main house (there was no neighbor noise!). Breakfasts were incredible at the Brafferton. There is a different menu every morning and main dishes are accompanied by fresh fruit and scrumptious pastries. They also put out a plate of fresh cookies every afternoon! Yum!!
In Gettysburg, we visited wine tasting rooms, ate at one of the local pubs, and visited the cute shops along the circle. The whole town is very friendly. We also did the three hour driving tour of the battlefield, which is a humbling experience I highly recommend.
If you run out of things to do in Gettysburg, Hershey and Indian Echo Caverns are a 45 minute drive and the Turkey Hill factory is only an hour's trek.
Overall, this experience was magical and I will be visiting the Brafferton again soon!
