When you first pull up to the hotel, you might be thinking "umm.. I'm not sure about this place..". It's definitely old and a little worn down. But as soon as you check in, you'll find the staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, everything works, and you'll just overall have an enjoyable stay. If you're looking for a low rate (probably the lowest in Gettysburg at $45-$50 a night) and aren't expecting anything fancy, this is the place to stay.

This motel is an older one, nothing fancy, but it was clean and quiet, which was most important to us. Our room was one of the bigger ones, with a small refrigerator, TV, AC, a couple of dressers, a hanging rod, and 2 double beds. We didn't plan on spending a lot of time in the room so this was just fine for us. It has parking right outside your door, which was also a plus for us. It's exactly 3 miles from town. We came down during Gettysburg Bike(motorcycle) Week, and so we were looking forward to all the daily activities, and some of the night life. But, when it came to bedtime, we wanted to be able to go back and be able to have a good night sleep without all the noise. This place fit the bill perfectly.
We didn't have any problems during our stay. We never felt threatened here, we were quite comfortable. Two of our friends stayed here at the same time, and also enjoyed their stay.

My wife and I wanted to ride our bikes around Gettysburg. We called up to make reservations. Owner was nice and pleasant. Did not have any problems. The motel is just 3 miles from town. The room rates are less than half what you would pay for the usual hotel chains located in and around town.
The place is a little old but the rooms were clean. Has TV and a small refrigerator, a little closet, bedside tables, a cabinet, toilet and shower. Bed was decent, comfy. We were able to bring in our two bikes inside the room with space to spare.
We did not feel threatened or in danger as the other review suggested. We needed inexpensive lodging and this fit the bill.

This place should be condemned! There were two cars up on blocks and my Chevy cavalier looked like a Cadilac Escalade compared to the other vehicles in the lot. It SMELLED horribly and I was afraid to sit on the bed it was so gross. The person who ran the place never changed out of the same pair of pajamas both days we were there and their "free coffee" came from the most dirty coffee pot I have ever seen in my life. This place literally brought me to tears. I found this motel (if you want to call it that) on -----. It was the first motel listed and it was a nightmare. Plus, the TV had "Wal Mart" literally burned into the screen. Do yourself and favor and NEVER STAY HERE!!!!
