Traveling north with my sons, we elected to tent camp along our journey. Round Top Campground was convenient to the battle field and Gettysburg. Looking at the site map we chose a primitive campsite at the end of the road as indicated on the map with bathroom facilities not far away.. Turns out we were situated in the middle of a trailer park with our tent backing up to someone's property providing no privacy with little to no shade.. This is not what the site map indicated. This is not a place to tent, but more like a long term RV Trailer / Trailer Park.

Round top campground is a little dated but is clean. It is very close to the battlefield.

This was our 2nd stay at Round Top Campground. My kids loved the large pool and the mini golf. The location is great. The office staff was very friendly and helpful.

LOUD LOUD LOUD right along the highyway and it is loud. We had a nice camping cabin the price was right but every thing was kinda half done the cabin was nice and very clean but the funiture was old, the light blabs where mismatch and there was plastic on the matteress do you know what it's like to sleep on plastic? the grounds where not taken care of but the office staff was very nice. A lot of permanent campers and the tent area was right along the highyway. If you don't mind the noies it could work. I just thought the place could just use some work. when leaving i did talk to them about some of the things it was a few day before Labor day and their pool was not open there minnie golf well there wasn't one really. They didn't seem really interested in hearing me. it could be a really great camp ground with just a little effort!
