The Lodges at Gettysburg surpassed my expectations and was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time.

My girlfriend and I stayed in a stand alone studio lodge which had a eat in kitchen area with small fridge, microwave, sink and lots of space (but no stove); a beautiful bathroom and a huge bedroom which included a sitting area, electric fireplace and big bed. It was all in our own building with a rear door that lead to our small patio area. And the night time silence of the area was a well welcomed peace!

Besides the awesome building was the awesome staff. These guys not only accomadated us on our vary late arrival but even came in and washed our dishes that were in the sink every day (The kitchen area had their own silverware, dishes and glassware). The staff kept our lodge very clean on a constant basis.

One afternoon when we were touring the Gettysburg sites, a staff member called me and told me the lodge was opening late the next morning and if we would like them to put a free breakfast in our lodge for us. He then went down a list of food items and asked what we wanted. When I requested yogurt he asked permission to put it in our fridge so they wouldnt spoil. Really? I have stayed at The Ritz Carlton multiple times and they have NEVER done that for me.

The only complaints we had were:
1) We had to keep the heater going constantly in an attempt to hold heat in our building. Which actually wasnt all that bad.
2) I was a little concerned as to the security of our building with its bolt locks. But the area was super safe and we didnt have any problems.
3) And we couldnt park right next to our building which wasnt that big of a problem because we just parked like 30 feet away. No biggie.

The Lodges at Gettysburg went above and beyond for us. We will be definitely staying there again.

We were so impressed with our stay at The Lodges at Gettysburg. Everything was great! We were a group of 25-30 people and absolutely enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful, the food catered by The Carriage House was delicious, and the lodges were fantastic! We were all age groups, ranging from 1 yr to 70 yrs. EVERYONE was so happy! Highly recommended.

My husband and I eloped in Nov and never really got a honeymoon...we took the chance to escape over New Years Eve to the Lodges at Gettysburg and it was AMAZING. We absolutely LOVED the lodge, the decor, the comfy bed, beautiful views, cleanliness and overall AWESOME stay! We will be back to do some horseback riding and touring in the Spring...without a doubt!

My husband and I wanted to get away for a little while for my birthday, but did not want to travel to far from home, we discovered the Lodges at Gettysburg, so close to home, but makes you feel like you are worlds away!.... When we entered the driveway to come to the Lodges we were greeted by 10 beautiful deer standing on the hill to our left and a big beautiful pond to our right. The Cabins are beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice! I loved the stone shower and the extra long and fluffy bath towels!! The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and wanted to take it home with me when I left. It was cozy, quiet, and above and beyond anything I ever expected from a property in this area. We had our own little deck, our own electric fireplace which was really a very nice touch! I can just go on and on. The lodges is our property of choice for a "weekend getaway" or if any family or friends come to visit. Thank you for making our weekend wonderful! :)
