“Quite The Stir is quite the charmer for lodging in Gettysburg!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2009

For lodging in Gettysburg that provides lavish comfort, exquisite attention to
detail and unparalleled privacy in an ambiance of home-away-from-home comfort,
Quite the Stir bungalow B&B is quite the right choice!

My husband and I stayed at "QTS" from October 28 to Nov. 3rd, 2009. It was seven
days of vacation that was greatly enhanced by our lodging at QTS. Gettysburg is
filled with Civil-War era B&Bs and inns… and that’s exactly what we did not
want. After a day of sightseeing and ghost tours, we wanted to come back to a
home-away-from-home that was a breath of fresh from the stale tourist-trade
traps. QTS provided our desired non-commercialized accommodations and ambiance
right in the heart of Gettysburg’s historic district!

Quite the Stir is truly a hidden gem of a B&B! I advise anyone going to
Gettysburg to check its web site and strike up a conversation (e-mail, too) with
Innkeeper Jolene. Whatever questions or concerns you may have, Jolene is the
go-to person. She sees to it that as a lodger, you are (in every sense of the
word), a welcomed Guest!
I would go back in an instant!

“National WWII Treasure-With Tiffany's Elegance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2009

This is a tribute to WWII in the form of a Bed and Breakfast. Splendid! The guest book reads with some who's who travelers and some write they are keeping Quite the stir a Gettysburg secret for themselves. Seriously, everyone needs to take a look at what a typical All-American Home of the forties looked like (with movie star charisma mixed in everywhere). And, the fruit tarts for breakfast and champagne delivered unexpectedly, was a very unexpected experience of pleasure.

“Crown Jewel of Gettysburg!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2009

This is the Crowning Jewel of Gettysburg places to stay, we've all got to admit. An early Christmas reunion with family took us here after seeking a lodging that offered us just enough room to gather and celebrate. Plus, the web description offered an innovating clever theme to visit midway with our family in another state. And, true to the innkeepers word, this place offered us a very special and unique WWII stay in this town known primarily for the Civil War. Classic. Slept like we hadn't slept in a while and appreciated the time to visit at a home away from home atmosphere. Hi to Dana and same place next year. Thanks to Quite the Stir for this utterly SONIC and wonderful place to enjoy our family.

“Quite the Charm!”

Amazing! That describes our suprise at this sweetheart of a B&B. The comfort factor, truly romantic and privacy aspects in themselves are amazing. This cozy place puts immaculate on the map. With an apple crumb pie waiting for us, the innkeeper gave us an education and history of a true bungalow when she saw how amazed we were at this place and all the special historical WWII era items. We never knew these places were such icons in American history. Anyway, we have photos to take home and memories to share. We are definitely heading to the Stir next summer for a longer stay!
