This is our third time doing apartment rentals with Anam Cara Accommodations, and again the stay was very pleasant and carefree.
When anyone travels with kids, you know how important it is for things to be right. And after our long voyage from overseas, it's a nice feeling to finally arrive and have trust that your lodging will be reliable.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt on the ground floor. Everything was spotless and the place was very spacious for wife, I and our two little girls. The little ones shared a bedroom that offered a day bed as well as a regular large one, so the two could sleep separately. If we needed to, there was a crib and some other baby items available in the closet.

We entertained friends and family that came from near and far, so it was very comfortable to host some 8 guest for dinner on one occasion. The kitchen, a walk-in, was very spacious and lots of counter top, cooking utensils, dishwasher, and large refrig to cover all of our needs.

The bathroom was very nice too, lots of space, a bathtub to wash two little girls at one time.

The living room had a t.v. with satellite channels as well as a dvd player. And the sofas were very nice and allowed guest to sit there or at the dining table, which was a bit smaill for large dinners, but for 4 people it is fine.

There were windows surrounding the entire corner, so sunlight was very nice. We parked our rental right in the front without a problem. And the neighborhood is very quiet with little traffic, and about 5 minutes from shopping.

By the way, there was a washer and dryer which came in very handy given our two week stay. Our stay was greeted by extremely cold weather and the climatization was always fine.

There's no way a hotel(even a 5 star) could offer such lodging as this , at a very reasonable price. We will be back!

This is probably the first time that a photo on the internet has NOT oversold a room. I stayed in "Shannon" and it was perfect. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linens and the bathroom which is in the room was perfect as well. On the site the fail to mention that the bathroom has the original fixtures from the 1930's and they are in mint condition.

The room also had TV, VRC and bottled water and glass - which is always a very nice touch. Small snacks were also left in the hallway and you could help yourself.

The house is only a street or two from the main drag so I was able to walk over in the afternoon and check out the stores and indulge in some mint chip ice cream.

In the morning I booked a massage with Jack Gann one room in the house is used as his studio. At $75 for one hour my money was well spent, he was terrific and my only regret is that I did not book 1 1/2 instead. I have had many massages and this defintely ranked among the best. He prefers payment in cash.

Teresa is delightful host and very personable, she joined me for breakfast and it was very nice to chat with her.

I highly recommend this B & B to anyone who needs to spend a night of two in Chestnut Hill based on my experience I can only assume you will be very satisfied with your stay.

I would absolutely return.

I was 6 months pregnant when we went to stay at the Anam Cara Bed and Breakfast for our anniversary. The owners were very nice and their dog is wonderful. We both had massages onsite and I have had plenty of massages in my life and I must say it is the best massage I have ever had in my life. Jack is wonderful. Our room was beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was bountiful. We parked our car and walked everywhere in Chestnut Hill. Great restaurants and shopping too! Please email me if you have any questions.
