Only good thing about this hotel is the location to where the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers play.
About a 20mins walk.

1st hotel room bathroom never flushed, faucets were broken.
2nd hotel room after we changed did not flush also and faucets were broken and carpet was very dirty. Beds are old and soft and smell. I was afraid of bed bugs.

Regarding the free wireless internet "in the room" non existant! The front desk hung up on me when I asked why dont I have wireless internet.
For wireless internet you had to go to the lobby.

Picture, hell no, probably camera was going to break. Lucky for me, it was only 1 night.

I just stayed there with my girl and her sister and her boyfriend had another room we were there on 12/31/11 new yrs eve the place was sold out it was nice all different kinds of people were lined up to get in there room even mid and upper class people were getting reservations the room looked good great view and had a couch , i had no problems with lice or bed bugs or messed up room i was on 14th floor the asian staff were really good and helpfull and were pretty quick getting the line to move for check ins , i would stay there again it is what you pay for..

The hotel looks nice from the outside, and it probably used to look nice on the inside too a couple of decades ago. The very fancy name, the location and the overall appearance of the building tricked us into checking in this hotel as we were looking for a place for the night. The truth is, it's very very old and nobody has ever bothered renovating the rooms. The room we were in smelled like humidity, everything was very old and very nasty. There was no cable TV nor internet. Half the lights had no light bulbs. The ice machines and the vending machines were out of order. 2 elevators out of 3 were out of order. In the bathroom, the plumbing was very old. The toilet was leaking and the water rose from the bowl and flood the bathroom. The shower curtain was nasty. The ceiling was destroyed and had holes in it with gunk dropping from it, absolutely disgusting.
Save yourself the headache and most of all save your money !!

My brother and I planned to stay here one evening, only to be welcomed by a cigarette burnt blanket and lice. Upon discovering the lice within the shower, we immediately packed up and headed downstairs. When we demanded a refund we were verbally assaulted by the owner and two facility workers. Thankfully after waiting on-hold for over an hour with hotels.com we were able to secure our refund.

I would never come back. Hopefully it is torn down by the time I return to Philly.
