Stayed 3 nights while on business in Philadelphia. Location is excellent. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and major tourist attractions (Liberty Bell Centre, Philadelphia Museum of Art)

Service is outstanding and the rooms are quite spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Would definately recommend to anyone needing a downtown location while in Philadelphia.

The Sofitel is located in the middle of downtown Philly, couple blocks away from City Hall and Rittenhouse Square. Everything you need from shopping to eateries are within walking distance, it's a perfect location! You can stroll along Walnut and Chestnut streets for endless options of everything that you need. I was very pleased with my room; very spacious king size room, super comfy bed, high-quality linen and L'occitane bath products in a very nice updated bathroom. Overall, my weekend stay at Sofitel was great. I will definitely book another room on my next business/pleasure trip to Philly.

We came in from the suburbs for a night in Philly to celebrate my in-laws' 40th anniversary. The Sofitel had a great rate and was in a great location with many bars and restaurants nearby. The bed was extremely comfortable. My wife appreciated the large bathroom and conveniently placed light switches. Nice TV, but too many analog channels to maximize its capabilities. Brunch at Chez Collette was good, but too expensive for what was offered. I will definitely return.

We stayed at the Sofitel for the first time to celebrate our anniversary and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent from the moment we checked in (the staff informed us that our room was upgraded to a Junior Suite since I noted it was our anniversary when I booked online). We found the hotel to be very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and truly made us feel special. As many reviews have noted, the location is great with many restaurant and attractions nearby. The value was great compared to other luxury hotels in the city - be sure to consider special hotel packages which include options such as breakfast in bed, complimentary champagne, etc. We travel enough that we have a pretty good frame of reference and I can't imagine a much better experience for the value. We could nitpick, as I believe some of the less positive reviewers have done, but overall it was a great experience and a very memorable anniversary!
