“Couldn't be more convenient, great staff, average rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

The hotel is connected to Terminal B at the Airport by a walkway. This makes it incredibly convenient for meetings, or just for an overnight stay. You can also walk to the SEPTA train, which gets you to downtown for $7. Buy an "Independence Pass" which gives you unlimited use for a day for $11. The meeting facilities are good, and comfortable. Had a very nice group dinner, white glove service. The public areas are very nice, the room is the standard marriott room.....club chair with ottoman, desk, dresser, no minibar, and a comfortable king bed. The shower was hot and powerful. My main complaint (and suggestion) is that they get WIRELESS INTERNET! This is pretty much the first Marriott (other than Fairfield, etc.) that only had wired internet. Not much help for a tablet user. Given that I am sure they cater to business travelers, this is really expected in a hotel these days. By the way, if unable to walk from the airport, they offer a shuttle to and from. It clearly meets the need, and then some.

Room Tip: The top floors are the concierge floors, and the lounge is on 15. Ask for an airport view if you ca...

“Convenient, Clean and Great Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

After reading a few recent reviews, its like we stayed at another property. I cant say enough about the thoughtful attention and service by all of the Marriott personnel we encountered on a one night pre-flight stay recently. The room was clean and a good night sleep before the hassel of a travel day. We have stayed there before and we would definitely stay again, as it takes the morning travel to travel away.

“Run down property terrible service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

My husband and i stayed here a few times and all out of convenience and always thinking our next stay would be better. NOT the case! It just got worse!! Dirty shower and itchy sheets! When we checked in i called for room service for lunch. No answer. I called the front desk... No answer. I called "at your service" no answer!! I called for 20 mins and finally a sleepy woman answered and said she was away from the phine!! What??? So tgere is one person at all 3 extensions??? I explained that i had been calling for 20 mins abd she never gave an excuse except "i was away from the phone??" weird!! Room service was fine but took forever... We filled out the breakfast card for room service.... It didnt arrive by 7 so we called.. They lost it!! They said they would call us back ... 15 mins later no phone call so we call them and they say....there was no time on it so we didnt know when to bring it!!! Call us and ask us what time!!!! My husband left for his meeting with no breakfadt and 1 hour later it arrived!!! All wrong!! Im still here waiting over an hour for towels!! Never again. This is obviously NOT marriott owned... Dirty terrible service!!!!!

Room Tip: Dont stay here its gross!!

“Like a Run Down Residence Inn”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I stayed here based on the four and five star reviews... this is one of those hotels where you arrive and wonder what other people were even thinking.

The whole hotel feels old, grimy and run down (exactly your fears of an airport hotel). The executive lounge was small, and the breakfast was honestly worse than a Residence Inn Breakfast (90% of it was the same as the Residence Inn, including the mushy scrambled eggs with a bowl of cheddar cheese and salsa next to it).

I'm staying in a Fairfield Inn tonight which is honestly better. Maybe I'm spoiled from great experiences at Shanghai Marriott City Centre and Marriott Downtown Hartford recently, but this is not a good hotel at all, especially for the money.

The one good note was the service- everyone was friendly and welcoming.

“Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

We stayed here for 2 nights because it was cheaper than the others around Philly. ($70/night bidding on a certain site that shall not be named...) Well, for $70 I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised!

Check in was quick and convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful explaining where to park ($20/night, if I remember correctly, which kind of sucks). There's a very convenient walkway straight from parking to the hotel elevators, which is definitely great if you've got a lot of luggage.

The room was spacious and clean. The mattress and bedding were so comfortable!! We almost didn't want to leave.

We ate at the onsite restaurant one evening and it was actually really good. I usually don't expect much from hotel restaurants but this was great... the porkchops and potatoes were absolutely delicious.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
