Overall, the stay was fine and it was a good value for the two days we were there. Location is excellent to get in/out of the city and the historic area is wonderful. When I arrived only one ice maker was available and it was a very long walk. The second day, only one elevator was available. The room was clean, excellent comfortable bedding. Don't miss out on a stop at Franklin Fountain, up the street near 2nd and Market and Pizzaria Stella on Lombard & Second.

Traveled here on business for 2 nights Jan 30-Feb 1. The hotel was looking a little tired. The bathroom in my room had peeling wall paper and there was mold/mildew on the wall under the sink. The heater in the room cycled loudly when it was cold the first night, so it was not easy to sleep. Same/similioar comments from another guest traveling with me. The second night, the temperature outside was warmer and the heater was not as loud. They were renovating about half the hotel. Maybe it will be better when they are done. The rooms were a good size and the bed was firm the way I like it. The hotel location is fairly good, with restaurants within easy walking distance.

I was there for a conference. I didn't stay in rooms but I was there for lunch and dinner and breakfasts. Services was very good. Food was excellent except the breakfast. Breakfast was nothing more than bagel, coffee, juice, yogurt, cheese and butter.

I will not forget the lunch specially dessert!

Internet speed was awful.

It is close to downtown. You can walk for 15 minutes to get there.

Our family went to Philadelphia New Years Eve weekend and stayed at he Sheraton Society Hill for 4 nights. There was a wedding there and the hotel lobby was wonderful for socializing with small private side rooms as well for spending private time with family. In the lobby was free internet computers but they ran extremely slow. The indoor pool a good size and clean with a jacuzzi next to it, daytime swimming was nice with the sun shining through and the gym was small but served it's purpose. The hotel did not offer complimentary breakfast but did have a restaurant for breakfast that was reasonable and coffee in our room. Our room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The service was great throughout our stay. The location was good and the weather was nice so we walked to go out to lunch, dinner, museums and shopping. We had to valet park for $, public parking was hard to find and inconvenient. On NYEve we walked across the road at the Hyatt on the River and watched a cool firework display! We also found some great little restaurants + pubs next to us in the historic waterfront district with cobblestone roads. Overall we had a pleasant stay but should say the hotel had an 'old' feel to it which could make it feel like a weak4 star unless you like the older charming feel which we did.
