Recently stayed here for a few nights with my wife. We have stayed here numerous times before and decided it is time to write a positive review for them.
Location: Doesn't get much better than this....directly across the street from Convention Center, Reading Terminal Market and Market East SEPTA station. Only a few blocks from great restaurants on Walnut and Chestnut St.
Amenities: Lather Bath products (wife really likes them), Keurig coffee in room, comfortable beds,
Facilities: Steam room, sauna and gym are nice. Nice views of city. Clean descent sized rooms.
Service: Everyone that works here is very friendly from the front desk to the door man.
Price: On Par with the rest of the center city Hotels
I usually stay Hilton locations when I travel.....but I will be staying at Loews in Philly again!

I did not really like this hotel and really pondered if I should review it because I do not like to give a bad review. However in the end I feel it is best to speak the truth of what i really feel. I really did not like the vibes there. The decor in the lobby is not my style, but am sure others love it. What really bothered me most of all is the fact that the room I got was just too small for the money I paid. My room did not live up to what I would expect of Loews. I just have seen better hotel rooms for the price. I was not impressed with it.
However, I love the fact that you can step outside this hotel and be in the midst of everything.
I needed help to get something to the room and the service I got was truly awesome.

Recently stayed overnite on a Saturday night for a Sunday meeting. The hotel staff were very friendly on check in and everything was as planned. The room we had was on the 28th floor giving us a nice view of City Hall, the Art Museum nd other Phila landmarks. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and all fixtures worked well. The bed was very comfortable. If I were to criticize, the TV was a bit on the older side but the picture and sound were still adequate. It is conveniently located in the heart of Phila. so dinner and entertainment choices are plentiful within a reasonable walking distance. We recieved a very fair price, as we were part of a large meeting being held there on Sunday. All in all I think the Loews Phila is a very nice place to stay and I would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or to stay there in the future.

I liked everything about it. More than the Marriott next to it
