“bad weather, good trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

This weekend i ran into bad weather and cancelled flights at the philly airport, I got a discounted rate from the airline to stay at the holiday inn at the stadiums. What could have been a horrible evening turned out to be not so bad. I called the hotel and they picked me up from the airport in no time, the shuttle driver was actually the front desk supervisor Adam who had to drive in that bad weather. I felt bad for him but he made the best of it. We made it safely to the hotel, check in was really fast and off to my room i went. Room was very clean, everything looks newly renovated. Staff was very friendly and made me feel at home. My only suggestion is to upgrade the TV's. Other then that i had a great night. Thanks Adam For everything..

“Inez at the Front Desk - Rocks!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

If you want to know a new meaning to the expression, customer service, it is Inez. She is patient, understanding, professional, courteous, efficient, pleasant, and I could continue. But, I will stop there. She has been with this specific hotel for quite some time. She is a great asset to them. Keep up the great work, Inez. Thanks for helping to make my stay wonderful.

This morning me and five other guys who stayed in the hotel decided to check out the restaurant and the young lady at the door was giving us some choices for breakfast and we all got the buffet . This young ladys name was Nicole and she was really great . When we all sat down to eat she automatically brought us a big pot of coffee and orange juice. She was very outgoing and helpful. I would defiantly come back to this hotel .

“If you're on business, don't stay here!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

They claim to be an airport hotel, but they do not have shuttle service from the airport! Be prepared to spend another $20 for a taxi to get there.

This hotel is worn, dirty and run-down. The TV belongs in an antique shop. And the room keys don't work...you need to get someone from the hotel to get you in your room. It took me three trips to the front desk to get into my room and they finally called a maintenance person to get me in. I stay in 100+ hotel rooms a year, so I think I know how to use a hotel room key...but not their's.

It took the front desk FOREVER to check me in. Nothing at this hotel works.

One more thing, they constantly change their room rates online. I booked my room two weeks in advance at $126 only to see the rate drop online to $117 the day I checked in. But they prevent you from changing your reservation online after 6 PM the day before. Most hotels allow you to cancel/change your reservation up to 6 PM the day you're checking in...but not here. Just hope your flight into Philly isn't delayed or canceled...which is pretty common at the horrible PHL airport.

I stay in Philly around the airport about once per month and this is not the first time I've stayed here, but it's the last. I'll stay anywhere else regardless of the cost.

Keep in mind there's the upfront teaser price, but what's the real cost with taxi charges, aggravation, lack of service and customer respect?
