My flight was cancelled on 2/25. I chose Marriott Residence Inn at random. The customer service made a difficult experience worth while. The front desk, security and shuttle driver were attentive, polite and went the extra mile. The room was clean with brand new televisions and appliances. I would come again and highly recommend them. It takes 5 minutes from front desk to airport check-in.

We had tons of flying insects (not exaggerating over 20) two nights in a row. They didn't have any openings, but I was offered a large can of bug spray (they had several so I guess this is an ongoing problem) for me to kill the pests myself. There are trash cans right outside the doors, and it appears the staff leave the doors open while cleaning so the trash can residents just fly on in. Returned home the 2nd day to find our door would not latch so it had been left open! I was assured both days that the manager would contact me and reduce our bill -- but that never happened. During our entire 48 hours there was a dead bird sitting right on the sidewalk outside the front door and no one ever cleaned it up, although we alerted them to it daily. We were supposed to stay again when we came back through, but changed our plans to avoid this dump.

I spend a lot of time in Philadelphia on business and can stay in any number of hotels. But it is the people here - particularly the kitchen staff - that keeps me coming back to this hotel.

The rooms are clean as expected, and the amenities are what you would expect from a business hotel. The plus here is that they cook dinner for you 3 nights a week - and it is GOOD FOOD!

Located on the perimeter of the airport, and the soundproofing isn't always the best. But the beds are comfortable.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for one night last week. The hotel staff (front desk) were very helpful, gave us directions to shopping and the best Philly Cheese steak sandwich in town. The price we paid through priceline were excellent. Rooms were spacious and clean, the town house setting and full kitchen made us feel like home. Strongly recommend for weary travellers. In the morning, we saw workers fixing the roofs, that tells you the management does look after this property. Free parking is rare in Philly area. Fast internet access and complimentary breakfast were plus. The staff who look after breakfast were so friendly and eager to help. Hotel is a bit hard to find thouh. Need bigger sign in the front.
