My husband, two children (15 and 12 yrs. old), and I stayed at the Residence Inn Philadelphia Airport for 2 nights in June 2011. We reserved a 2-bedroom suit with pull-out sofa. The room was very nice and roomy and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good, though, I wish they served bacon strips instead of the round ham patties. The room rate was very reasonable for a family of four; especially considering it included free parking, breakfast buffet, and evening receptions. It was also only a short drive to downtown Philadelphia. So, we used this location to visit some of Philadelphia’s historic sites like Independence Hall, Todd & Bishop White Houses, the Liberty Bell Center, Betsy Ross House, and National Constitution Center. We would definitely stay here again!

Our flight from Miami landed at 12:45 am. We had been in Curacao for a week long vacation. Given the late hour, we'd planned to stay in a hotel and head home the next morning. It was close to 2am when we arrived at the hotel. The gentleman who checked us in was pleasant and the studio room was very nice, much bigger than we expected. The foam mattress was one of the most comfortable beds I've every slept on. No transfer of motion. The hotel was very quiet, even in the morning. Standard Residence Inn breakfast, which I always enjoy. Friendly staff provided excellent directions for us to head back to New England. As airport hotels go, this is a very good one.

My flight was cancelled on 2/25. I chose Marriott Residence Inn at random. The customer service made a difficult experience worth while. The front desk, security and shuttle driver were attentive, polite and went the extra mile. The room was clean with brand new televisions and appliances. I would come again and highly recommend them. It takes 5 minutes from front desk to airport check-in.

We had tons of flying insects (not exaggerating over 20) two nights in a row. They didn't have any openings, but I was offered a large can of bug spray (they had several so I guess this is an ongoing problem) for me to kill the pests myself. There are trash cans right outside the doors, and it appears the staff leave the doors open while cleaning so the trash can residents just fly on in. Returned home the 2nd day to find our door would not latch so it had been left open! I was assured both days that the manager would contact me and reduce our bill -- but that never happened. During our entire 48 hours there was a dead bird sitting right on the sidewalk outside the front door and no one ever cleaned it up, although we alerted them to it daily. We were supposed to stay again when we came back through, but changed our plans to avoid this dump.
