We were struck by the personal welcome by members of staff who were keen to help. Although we were attending a conference in the hotel, the central position meant that we were able to explore Philadelphia. The proximity to the Reading Terminal Market was certainly a bonus, especially for a picnic lunch between sessions. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room quiet. There were great views over Philly!

We would certainly stay again.

We spent two nights here and were very pleased. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the service is excellent. The location is very central and convenient to many of Philly's attractions. No complaints, would definitely stay here again. Got a great price through Priceline.

All the the staff were pleasant and curtious the only issue was the maid on the 22nd floor who knocked on our door several times even though the do not disturb sign was out this person continued knocking on the door and placed her key into enter the room couldn"t figure this out since it was 7am in the morning and check out time was 12pm i cant imagine their policy is to knock on the do not disturb doors first i thought she was looking for the tip

Housekeeping took 1 of my daughters Ugg boots (value $150) from our room. I reported it immediately and spent the w/e calling housekeeping and checking lost and found. When I returned home I called and eventually sent an email. After numerous attempts (in person/phone/email) I spoke to administration who informed me that there was no record of the missing Ugg until they received my first email. Furthermore, their was no proof that housekeeping to the Ugg and therefore they were not accountable. This is a disgrace. This gives Marriot staff the OK to enter your hotel room and intentionally/unintentionally take what they like and there will not be any consequences for them. I will never feel safe in a Marriot again.
