Stayed at the Sierra Nevada Lodge for 3 nights during a recent ski trip. The lodge is located close to the Village and surrounded by stores and places to eat nearby. We appreciated that the female clerk at the front desk was considerate enough to put us in a room away from a high school group that was staying there at the time, so we would not be bothered by their noise. The lodge is currently remodeling all their rooms and from what I hear the look pretty nice. We stayed in one of the older rooms which were basic, but fine. Our room had a microwave and small fridge which comes in handy when you have a toddler with you. The room and bathroom were clean. The walls are thin and you could hear all the conversations going on in the room next to ours. Hopefully the remodel includes some insulation in the walls to drown out noise. The beds are adequate, not the best and not horrible. The simple breakfast provided at the restaurant next door was sufficient and a nice start to our day. The lodge has a nice lobby with a fireplace, pool table, bar and computer for surfing the net. We would stay here again and would like to stay in one of the remodeled rooms to see the improvement. Overall they do a nice job and our stay was a good one.
