“Better Places To Stay In Mammoth For Less”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 November 2011

Bedding smelled like smoke. If you pull back the pillow cases you will not like what you see so I recommend you don’t do that. The pillows are old and stained yellow (Sweat or Drool). Great covered parking. Great view of the Best Western where we stayed our second night and were glad we did. Could always have been worse I guess, we did not have an issue with bed bugs. With the condition of this hotel I’m sure that’s not far out.

“Great location and hotel for the price.”

We stayed here for 2 nights while we visited Yosemite National Park. Very accessible from the hotel and easy to find.

The hotel is very much what you expect from this type of hotel - clean, tidy, spacious rooms and good service. Breakfast was included within the price too so good value for money. The staff were helpful and on hand to recommend restaurants.

Parking was included too in the garage under the hotel. The room was very quiet and overlooked the main rood but no traffic noise at night. There is a few restaurants within walking distance but you really need to drive to the main areas - only about 5 mins away.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 2nd floor as a little quieter away from reception.

“Just fine”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Pretty much what you’d expect – no character, functional, could do with refreshing. On the upside the breakfast was a lot better than expected, check-in was welcoming and the room was big. At a resort like this I guess you get what you pay for and if you don’t care about decor this is fine, plus the location is good.

“Excellent stay: quite and clean with good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

Pro:
good location, close to shopping center, restaurant and food store
room is quite and clean with microwave and refrigerator, bed and pillow are comfortable, no bad smell of room, sink and bathroom are separated
decent breakfast with many choices, spacious dinning space and a lot of park spots (not busy season)
friendly staff and 24hr hot spa

Con:
The meat patty of breakfast is greasy and not tasty. It is better to change to beacon.

It is excellent stay with this price. Definitely recommend.

“Home away from home!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

We visit this Quality Inn about twice a year. We love it's location and we love the staff at the hotel. Gary, the Manager, always greets us warmly and it seems like we are visiting an old friend at his home. He truly takes pride in the hotel and it's staff. The breakfast is included in the price of the room and there are many choices of breakfast items including eggs, sausage, cereal and even freshly made waffles. My kids love going to "see Gary" and they love the over-sized "spool" that they can relax and even swim in. The hotel is within walking distance to many stores and eating establishments...and it's very close to The Village.

Room Tip: Back side of hotel is much more peaceful.
