We stayed at an older 1 bedroom 1 bath Snowcreek Condo(sleeps 4) and booked through Mammoth Sierrra Reservations. The condo was tiny, but the price was right. ($154 per night on Fri-Sat-Sun in late February 2005) Nice fireplace. The condo could use some updating- I felt like I was in a 70's time warp. Close to the ski area and excellent customer service from Mammoth Sierra--the only thing we really missed was wireless internet to check weather, mountain conditions, road conditions, etc. We always bring our laptop for that reason. Nice spa and sauna very close to the condo. Also, the free unlimited long distance on the condo phone was a nice touch!!

Went up to Mammoth during MLK weekend. A big group of us (11 adults and a baby) stayed in a beautiful cabin w/ 3 rooms and a loft with 3 twin size beds and a pullout couch in the living room. It was great! TVs in all the rooms and a awesome entertainment center in the living room which was only a tad bit confusing to use, but was equipped with movies to watch. Kitchen was enormous! Also, a fireplace in the living room that was put to good use as well as in the two master bedrooms. Balcony looked out onto a big field of snow which was also put to good use (snowmen and snowball fights). Only a couple of problems to report. #1 - Wireless internet access was not available, and could never get a hold of the front desk after 5pm, so we never got it fixed. #2 - There were three bathrooms, but two of them were in the two master bedrooms, so the rest of us (7 ppl) had to share a tiny bathroom w/ an even tinier shower stall! #3 - Just had to not a couple of broken chairs in the dining room, but it did not bother us too much. Had lots of fun anyways and we plan to make it an annual trip!
