“The one bed and breakfast to stay in when visiting The Lehigh Valley”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 February 2011

Fabulous ambience, comfort, and a true sense of being at home in this warm, historical home that serves as Lehigh Valley's award winning bed and breakfast conveniently located 10 minutes away from the major airport, mall, and highway in the Allentown-Bethlehem, PA corridor. I have stayed there about 7 times in as many years, the most recent being the best. Innkeepers Virginia and Tim each deserve 5 stars for their gracious service, not to mention the best baking, breakfasts, snacks, and always-available wine and drinks in their home. You have to try this B&B, I promise you will not be disappointed. Rates comparable to moderately priced hotels, and the stay is far superior. Thanks again, Virginia and Tim!!!

“A wonderful surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 February 2011

My husband was leaving for deployment to Kuwait for 6 months and we decided to get away for the night at the last minute (we love Behtlehem). We found The Morningstar on the internet and decided to give it a try. The location is in an old neighborhood that is quiet, tree-lined and within walking distance to the historic area of Bethlehem.

Our room was tastefully decorated, clean, and the hostess was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious!

“Luxury B&B Not to Be Missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2010

We give a 5-star rating to the Morning Star B&B. This beautifully restored mansion is immaculately maintained. In addition to its super-comfortable beds and gleaming bathrooms, guests are treated to gourmet breakfasts, home-made cookies and evening hors d'oeuvres. Highly recommended!

“Amazing place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2010

My husband and I were traveling with friends when we stayled at the Morningstar Inn. You could not choose a better place. The breakfast - mmmmmm, absolutely wonderful - served in courses - out of this world. The rooms were wonderful and absolutely spotless. The place is within walking distance of historic downtown. Absolutely wonderful - we will keep this place on our list of places to stay. This is a must stay place. May seem pricey, but you would find any in hotel the amenities you get here, not counting the gourmet breakfast, which alone makes up for any cost. After we had breakfast, we did not have another meal until the evening. And the hosts are wonderful!

“Words cannot express...”

Beautiful. Wonderful. Comfortable. Peaceful. I could go on but I’d just run out of adjectives. This B&B is absolutely perfect. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and the entire property is immaculate. (My husband and I jokingly challenged each other to find one cobweb or dust speck anywhere in the house. We couldn’t do it.)

We spent two glorious evenings at the Morningstar Inn. It was not long enough. This is certainly a place where you could move in and live forever – especially with a glass of wine in the overstuffed sofa in the all-season room.

We stayed in a quiet, peaceful room with pale yellow walls, lovely antique furniture and a great bathroom with a double shower. But we made ourselves quite at home throughout the inn, enjoying complementary wine, soda and homemade cookies. Virginia and Tim live here and say they treat all visitors as guests in their home. It’s true.

Breakfast was fresh, hot and filling, complete with several choices and still-warm-from-the-oven baked goods. It rained while we were there so we didn’t get a chance to try the pool but we’ll certainly be back someday to do so. I can hardly wait.
