My group has utilized the Courtyard for the past 4 years, never having a problem, until this year. Vital information regarding major reconstruction of the hotel was witheld from our group. We were told, only after me asking, the night before arriving, that the lobby entrance was under construction. Upon arrival, we learned that there was no available meeting space for our group, no common area, and that half of the hotel was off limits due to construction/renovation. They tried to move us next door to the Residence Inn, which charged a much higher rate and could not guarantee that there would be room for our group to congregate. Luckily, one of our group members walked over to the Fairfield Marriott (all 3 hotels mentioned are located next to each other) and secured us a lower rate. The staff at the Fairfield was amazing and we could not have asked for anything more of them. We wholeheartedly endorse the Fairfield and recommend it over the Courtyard. The rooms are exactly the same and it is a cheaper rate. We will never go back to the Courtyard, as their dereliction of duty and witholding of information almost caused a catastrophe on what is the biggest event of our year.
