we stayed here on while house hunting in Florida. The photographs online must have been taken 30 years ago. We asked for a non smoking room, and were told there was only one left, however all the rooms on the second floor where we were were all marked NO SMOKING and they were vacant the whole time we were there.

The room was awful, paint peeling, cigarette burns in the microwave (WAS NO SMOKING ROOM REMEMBER), filthy bathroom, mold, no caulking in the shower, holes in the towels, and stained sheets. I used the hair dryer, and it cuts the power in the room by about half. Made the lights so dim you could not see if the shades were closed. The air conditioner did NOT drain to the outside, but into the room all over the carpet.

I brought these things to the attention of the manager -Paul- , and was told they are renovating. Not one room was being worked on, and we were there for FIVE days.Oh, now about the coffee pot in the room, I went to make coffee the first morning, and there was still coffee in it, with about 1/2 inch of MOLD. I took the pot to the manager, and he put a new pot in the room... still didn't use it. The safe in the room did NOT work either. This place seems like the type used BY THE HOUR. One guest had several different guests at all hours of the night. The continental breakfast does NOT have fruit as shown, just sugar pastries and cold cereal. The microwave in the breakfast room kept tripping the breaker. The manager came in and used the bathroom which is off of the breakfast area, and did NOT wash his hands, then proceeded to handle the food. We didn't eat there again. We have VIDEO of this as well as a few pictures, and I will be submitting them to the city of Bradenton Health Department.

This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed in!!! As soon as we arrived we noticed cigarette burns on the bathtub ring...no lamp shade on the one lamp....no light bulb in the other...the telephone reciever was glued or stuck down to the phone which did not even work....no remote for the tv and after about twenty minutes of walking around putting things away I noticed how dirty everyones feet and socks were from the carpet!!!! This place was disgusting....the walls were half painted, there was inappropriate language on the bathroom door and worst of all when I went to close the curtain the whole rod feel off the wall...plaster and all!!!! When most of these things were brought to the attention of the management (who were none so pleasant) I was just blown off and since this nasty hotel was booked through Travelocity I had to options but to stay my full time out since a refund was not an option. Travelocity should be ashamed at themselves as should AAA for endorsing and promoting this hotel!! PURE FILTH!

Despite lower evaluations by others below, it was acceptable for us to stay this hotel. The lady in front was friendly. A young male staff kindly helped me to connect my PC to internet. The cleanliness was well maintained when we stayed on March 18, 2010. There is a buffet restaurant (open until 20:30) in just one minute walking distance. The following two subjects were disappointing:
1) The internet connection speed was only 1 Mbps, it was far below "High-speed".
2) The number of tables for breakfast was not sufficient.
However, these subjects are small matters. As overall, this hotel has a good cost-performance.

Myself and 3 friends stayed at this motel on our first night of our holiday in Florida. We arrived at the hotel at 8:30 pm looking forward to a shower and a clean soft bed after a 8.5 hour flight and a 2 hour drive from the airport. When we arrived we were both disappointed and degusted at the state of our rooms. Before I continue, let me quash the voices in your head which may be saying “you get what you pay for.” The fact remains, even the most humblest of accommodations, irrespective of rate should meet certain basic requirements, the most basic of all being cleanliness. The carpets were dirty, there was dust on the furniture and the sheets and pillowcases on one of the beds were soiled. The bedding was so dirty and of poor quality we slept in our cloths. The bathroom was not clean, there was a rusty screw sticking out from the bottom of the door and the shower rail was not fixed to the wall properly meaning that the shower curtain would not surround the bath. Police were patrolling the car park when we arrived, in hindsight this should have set the alarm bells ringing. I would not recommend this hotel.
