We vacationed on Anna Maria Island the week of June 21st, 2008.
What a great beach vacation we had. I am the beach lover in my family and we have stayed at many beaches over the years but Anna Maria Island is now at the top of my list. It has a great mix of beautiful beaches, great restaurants and shops while still retaining that laid back beach "Old Florida" feel. We stayed at the Gulf View Condominiums on Bradenton Beach. It was right on the beach and close to Historic Bridge Street and many great restaurants (walking distance). We rented from Dan at Camellia Properties, his office is located in the La Costa Condos (another great complex) my Sister and Niece stayed there. I don't think I have ever experienced better service. He made sure everything was taken care of even putting beach chairs and an umbrella in for our stay. Next time we go and I hope it is soon we will give him a call. We could not have been happier. My Sister and Niece feel the same way.
