“You get what you pay for... Not too impressed.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012 via mobile

The hotel is okay. Continental breakfast was very basic. Hotel smells like sanitation chemicals/odor. House keeping was mediocre at best. Good wifi connectivity and relatively close to good restaurants and airport. I'd recommend this to the traveler on a budget. Sheets were clean.

“Best Hotel In Dayton,OH”

The Ramada Plaza Hotel on Wagner Ford RD. in Dayton, OH is by far the most pleasant stay that me and my family have ever encountered. We have stayed here quite a few times. As many places as there are in the Dayton area we always choose this place because the rate is reasonable and the service is very good. We have never had a bad time here. The rooms are always up to standard and the pool is always just at the right temperature as is the hot tub. So if u are looking for a nice, but good priced pleasant stay, stay here :)
Sincerely, The Kincers

“awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

I obtained info about this hotel from a coupon book that I picked up at one of the rest stop visitors centers. I had a coupon for $49.99 any night and up to four persons. Free shuttle to the airport. I was skeptical. Walked right in. Obtained a room for the price advertised with no heckling or anything else. The hotel was very clean. Indoor pool, exercise room, game room including a ping pong and pool table. A very very good value. They also accept pets. Pam the front desk personnel, remembered almost everyone that walked through the door. Everyone was very very friendly. Continental Breakfast is more substantial than most places that I've stayed. I will definitely make the effort to stay at this hotel again while in the area. You should too....

“Private Party shocked guests Celebrating New Years Eve”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

For the 2nd year in a row, our family came to this hotel that is close to home, a place where we can take our kids to enjoy the pool, etc. for New Year's Eve. We booked a couple of months in advance with 5 different families. It was advertised and posted that this was a family evening. Little toddlers and kids of all ages, who would normally be at home with a sitter, were living it up with their families on the dance floor! The hotel did an amazing job! What a concept! The adults who chose to drink could do so without the fear of anyone getting behind the wheel. They allowed all guests to bring in their own food and drinks (including alcoholic beverages). It was quite an affordable night for all.
We had a great time until there was some major concern at the type of party that was happening just next door. Let's just say Adult Entertainment, all sorts of people, all shapes and sizes, in various stages of dress, were parading through our party to access the back entrance of their party. People were pointing, people were trying to catch a peek at what was happening - I will only tell you that things were happening in that room that were beyond inappropriate and no doubt, illegal. A dog was even an honored guest. Guests were coming in with large bags with whips sticking out the back. The crowd at our party went wild with disbelief.
Surely the hotel couldn't possibly be aware of what was going on at the same time as our "Family Celebration!" When one of the mom's in the group we were in, went over to the back entrance, she went through a curtain and was stopped immediately and was told by a guest at the "Adult" party to leave. Words were exchanged regarding them stopping to walk through the family party. She was told to "Take it up with the manager!" So she did.
The management took immediate action and disallowed anyone using our "Party room" as a walkway. It never should have happened, but I feel it was handled as well as could be expected.
Although my children, didn't see a whole lot, they sure saw more than I ever would have hoped!
Just a case of dual party planning gone terribly wrong.
Very disappointed family
Return next year doubtful.

“Home-y”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

I had stayed at that hotel a while back due to electrical/health issues in my house. I felt pretty comfortable. The beds were soft and I could sleep good. The hot tub made my muscles quit aching, which was a bonus.

Room Tip: I didn't wanna be next to the highway and they honored that.
