I don't like being negative, but the positive reviews are just silly. This is an old property that used to be a chain motel. Basic lodging at best. Rooms have an ac/heater unit under the window, the fan on mine whined just enough to keep me waking up all night. Bathroom is missing caulking, showing its age. You would get a better value with the many of the lowend chains.

We stayed in July to visit family. It was ok, but we had to switch rooms twice because the room AC didn't work or work properly. The rooms themselves were ok, fairly clean, but the bathrooms were horrible. The tubs had dark spots & chips, and there was a constant strange smell in them (was the same in 2 of the rooms we tried). Lots of mildew, and a few bugs were encountered in the bath (not sure what kind they were, but they looked like the type that might thrive in a moist environment). All in all they need to at the very least have all of their baths updated with new tubs and fixtures, and new floors since dark mildew was present in the tile grout. Even though it was a great value, we most likely will not be back because of that.

Our kids enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast was so so.

I guarantee you cannot find a better value for your money in the area. Facility was clean, staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast much better than the usual carb-loaded you get at most hotels. I don't believe this former Hampton Inn has been redecorated in some time, but while behind a good 15-20 years aesthetically, nothing looked especially worse for the wear. Highly recommend for a nights rest in the south Dayton area.

Stayed here for a family get together. I give this place an "eh." Not too terribly dirty or run down, but also not well kempt. I believe it used to be a Hampton Inn, it appears that there have been no updates since the exchange. I would consider it a good value, but do not plan on staying again.
