Pros: Comfy beds and bedding, temperature very steadily maintained in room, liked having a fridge and microwave in the room. LIghting in the work area was better than usual. Breakfast better than average though a few items weren't absolutely fresh. Liked the cookies and apples! Felt safe as a solo female traveller.

Cons: A bit noisier than average, though I slept fine with earplugs. Didn't go swimming - the (small) pool looked kind of murky. Internet was a liitle slow, esp. in the evenings. I was on the 2nd floor and had to go to 1st or 3rd for ice. Overall just a tad worn looking.

Our reservation went smoothly...we arrived late and were checked in quickly.
The room was smaller than usual, but the tall ceilings made it seem larger.
The room size was fine for us, we didn't need any more floor space. The
bathroom was huge. Comfortable beds.
Breakfast was hot. Waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. The woman taking care of
the food was outstanding and went out of her way to help.
We would stay here again.

This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in our travels, and the nicest we could find in our budget. We made our reservations via the hotel's site, and there was no problem upon check-in. Our room was clean, but a little small for our needs (we should have booked a suite - a roll away bed just does not fit into a 2 queen room). We appreciated the ability to control our own temperature with a digital thermostat, but the air conditioning uni was very loud. The beds were top notch, and the bedding was excellent. The continental breakfast was delicious, and there was plenty to choose from, even for the person in our party with wheat and dairy allergies. The rooms were also very clean, and the housekeeping staff was respectful of our belongings. One day I left my laptop out on my unmade bed during breakfast, and by the time I returned our room was clean, but they had not made my bed because they did not want to handle my laptop. I was very grateful for that. We also enjoyed the common room with books you can check out and borrow, then return at any Country Inn and Suites location. The pool area looked clean but we did not have time to swim.

The only negative came when we tried to check out. I was in a group of two other people, and we all needed to split the bill three ways. The night clerk told us this was fine on our night before checkout, but the morning clerk on checkout day was very difficult and tried to tell us he was unable to split our bill until his manager arrived in 20 minutes. Eventually he did split our bill, but at that point, we were so late to the airport that we almost missed our flight. I'm not sure how this could have been avoided, but if we HAD missed our flight, the rating for the hotel would definitely be lower.

All in all a great experience, our first at a Country Inn and Suites, and we were very pleased. Definitely would stay here again.

Overall, my hotel experience was great. I never stayed at a Country Inn & Suites but after my recent stay I am a customer for life. I've stayed at a wide variety of hotels for both business and pleasure. Everything from five star luxury resorts to two star hotels. This hotel is one of the best values for your money.

I recently stayed at the Country Inn & Suites during a visit to the Air Force National Museum. I stayed one night at the hotel after finding it on the internet. There were plenty of other hotels including another Country Inn closer to the museum but I decided to select this hotel anyway because of the good customer ratings. The hotel is just fifteen minutes from the museum just off of I-675. I was very pleased with my selection and it is well worth the little extra drive.

We were greeted by a very friendly staff member and she inform us that the hotel was hosting a party starting at 5:00 pm. We checked in and headed down to the party. They served beer, wine, cheese and crackers at the party that lasted to 6:30 pm. Then, in the morning I went down for breakfast. Good selection of items including eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, fruit and muffins. The dinning area was bright, clean and well organized.

The hotel is very new and just minutes from downtown Dayton. The room included a microwave and refrigerator along with the normal items like iron, coffee pot and tv. The two double beds were very comfortable with lots of soft pillows. The staff was very friendly and professional. My wife did not feel good in the morning and the staff extended my hotel checkout time to 1:00 pm. A great experience all around.
