For those visiting Wright-Pat AFB, this is a very good location at a lower price than the brandname hotels. The lobby and halls are filled with pictures depicting its namesake and the historic efforts held there. "Packy's" is a sports bar serving all meals so, you never need to drive anywhere (especially in very cold weather). I had dinner and breakfast there and was pleased with the food while watching news and sports on all the TVs. The hotel offers Wi-Fi free. While check-in is 3 pm, I was able to check in at 1 pm. The front desk staff was very helpful. Given the price and location, I would stay there again.

Stayed here two nights. I'm sure there are nicer hotels in the area, but the Hope Hotel isn't all that bad. Will agree with a previous reviewer - walls are thin. My room backed up to the really (ok, really, really) old elevators. They run all night, and they are LOUD. Recommend requesting a room away from them. Bed was fairly comfortable, but squeaked a bit. Luckily I couldn't hear it for the elevators... I'd compare this hotel to a Motel 6, or maybe a Super8 - consider it if you're low maintenance or on a budget.

In town for a wedding. Most out of town guests stayed here and the wedding party had a hospitality room, their reception, and morning-after breakfast here. Remember this is not a chain hotel. It is part of the air force base so don't expect any frills. No breakfast buffet, no fitness center. On site restaurant very good, staff was polite, rates were okay (military ID helped), room was basic but had wireless internet, bed was nothing to write about, pillows were too large to be comfortable but we did not change them out so that is our fault. Not sure how convenient it is to the surrounding area as we did not get out too much. Bottom line...great restaurant, good for the hotel convention center events, okay price, not much else going for it.

The Hope Hotel is a great location if you are visiting the Air Force Museum. The room was fine. Things were quiet - except for reveille being played outside at 7:30 AM. But it is on a military base.

We had a problem checking in. The electricity was off when we arrived so they suggested we go away for awhile and come back. On our return two hours later the power was on but they could not access their online reservation system so they suggested that we wait in the lobby until they could. Since we had our reservation printed out and the place was not exactly bustling so there looked to be a choice of rooms, I suggested they just let us go to a room and sort things out later. They finally decided that was possible (they still have actual keys for room doors so it was not a problem with programming a key card.) I understand that a power outage must have been a stress on the system but in two hours they should have been able to find a way to get us in a room without me digging in my heels a bit.

The restaurant on site was excellent for breakfast. They have the best pancakes I have ever tasted on the buffet. We were the only people there though and it took some time to get the attention of someone to serve us.
All in all its a good hotel just lacking a bit of customer service. I would stay again.
