I travel to Dayton, OH weekly, and have for about 3 years. I always stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites on Byers Road, but two weeks ago they were surprisingly unaccomidating. I started looking for another place to stay.
One of my team members recommended the Extended Stay, since it's in the same area. I was aprehensive about staying there at first, but once I met the staff and saw the cleanliness of the accomidations I was surprised and very pleased. I've already booked my reservations for the rest of this year, and couldn't be happier. From the front desk staff to the spacial rooms I think I've found a home away from home.

I stayed in room 308 at this Hotel in early July. The room was infested with bed bugs. The hotel management seemed more interested in filling rooms than taking care of deffered maintenance issues. Stay Away! Unless you want to be a pint low the next morning after you "sleep". The hotel smells - has worn carpets, and is not clean. The air cond. and refrigerator are very noisy. There is no elevator - three story building. They were offering $26 rooms per night in Sept. - Cheap = You get what you pay for!

At first we were very pleased. The location is near great shopping and resturants while also being quiet and safe. But this is one of those times when you get what you pay for. The outside of the hotel is clean and well maintained but the inside is a different story. Everything is worn out. The drains run slow and the TV is the smallest one I have ever seen. I would recommend this hotel overall becuase of the price and location.

I stay at this hotel at least once a month on business trips to Dayton. The staff are exteamly friendly and helpful and go beyond the typical customer service routine. I always get a call after check in to see if there is anything they can do and the condition of the room is satisfactory. The housekeeping staff is helpful and friendly taking care of any issues in a timely manner. This time I stayed in one of the suites, new updates including a furniture and plasma tv. The kitchen facilities are in good order and since I spend a lot of time on the road, I make use of this several times each visit.....it is good having a chance to cook for myself as we know we all get tired of take out food..... The location is excellent giving me acess to the main traffic arteries and close location to malls and several resturants. This is the only place I book when I am in the area.
