We had a Ice Storm and our power was out for almost two days. I called several hotel, but most of the prices were too high. I found Extended Stay South, Dayton Ohio. The price was excellent and I was able to bring both my dog and cat.

The room was very clean and well kept. Yes the TV was not a big HD TV big it worked fine. The room had a full kitchen, stove, refridgeator, micro wave, dishes, everything you would want for $49.00 a night. I had to pay the pet fee of $25.00 per pet but I didn't mind that at all.

The staff was very friendly and went out of there way to help. We stay one night and sign for another night because our power was still out, but two hours later our power came back on and they refunded my money for the second night and only charged a $10 late check out fee, which saved me $40.00.

The hotel was well worth what I paid and if I ever need another room close to home I will stay there again.

I travel to Dayton, OH weekly, and have for about 3 years. I always stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites on Byers Road, but two weeks ago they were surprisingly unaccomidating. I started looking for another place to stay.
One of my team members recommended the Extended Stay, since it's in the same area. I was aprehensive about staying there at first, but once I met the staff and saw the cleanliness of the accomidations I was surprised and very pleased. I've already booked my reservations for the rest of this year, and couldn't be happier. From the front desk staff to the spacial rooms I think I've found a home away from home.

I stayed in room 308 at this Hotel in early July. The room was infested with bed bugs. The hotel management seemed more interested in filling rooms than taking care of deffered maintenance issues. Stay Away! Unless you want to be a pint low the next morning after you "sleep". The hotel smells - has worn carpets, and is not clean. The air cond. and refrigerator are very noisy. There is no elevator - three story building. They were offering $26 rooms per night in Sept. - Cheap = You get what you pay for!

At first we were very pleased. The location is near great shopping and resturants while also being quiet and safe. But this is one of those times when you get what you pay for. The outside of the hotel is clean and well maintained but the inside is a different story. Everything is worn out. The drains run slow and the TV is the smallest one I have ever seen. I would recommend this hotel overall becuase of the price and location.
