What a difference a few weeks make. Return back to Dayton Crowne Plaza and it was wonderfull. The restaurant staff,bell hop,were terrific. Being a Platium member for over 17 years, the following people make sure that i was treated for my loyalty:LESIA COLE, CEE CEE,ANDY,KRISTI, JASMINE,CHEKEYLA MOORE, And the entire restaurant and bar staff. This has been one of the best stays that i have had in years coming to this hotel again was a pleasure. The named employees remember me from over the years staying here and made we feel welcome to be back at the Crowne Plaza Dayton Ohio

After driving for 8 hours from Charlotte I was very tired, but when I got to the front desk I was pleasantly surprised.

Andy was extremely kind, courteous, and professional. He made sure that I understood the layout of the hotel, and was also sure to tell me where I could park my car and on what deck. The hotel has undergone some wonderful renovations and because of the decor and Andy's help I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Dayton.

I used to live in Dayton, OH years ago and had the pleasure of working with some wonderful theatre companies (Human Race Theatre Co., Dayton Opera Co., etc.). When I found out that the show I was touring with was going to play the Schuster Center in downtown Dayton I was very excited. There were many choices of hotels but I chose to stay at the Crowne Plaza. It was within walking distance to the Schuster Center and I knew that people could also walk to the Oregon District that had many restaurants and pubs. This hotel is dated and needs a bit of upgrading, but nothing too major. The front desk was very courteous and assisted me with everything I needed for my group. All my rooms were ready and key packets were handed to me upon arrival. I was upgraded to a room that had a very large dining/conference room table. I didn't need to use the table but it was nice to have when I was refolding all my clothes! The hotel has a gym on the lobby level. Again the cardio equipment was a little dated, but I was still able to get a good work out in. The hotel was very clean and the employees that I encountered were all very nice and eager to help. Sometimes when visiting cities the front desk isn't aware of late night food deliveries, but when I visited the front desk to ask about food options they handed me several numbers and names of restaurants that could deliver. This was VERY nice. Kudos to the late night front desk receptionists! To sum up this review I would say the Crowne Plaza has many friendly employees that are helpful and courteous. The hotel and my room were dated but comfortable. Most importantly the hotel was very clean and in a great location near food options and the theatre. A fine hotel and with some upgrades it has the potential to be amazing!
