If the hotel was renovated, we must have gotten one of the throw backs. The door wouldn't unlock and the handle fell off. When we went to go out , it wouldn't lock as the jam was stuck. The hair dryer didn't work. The room had an odour to it. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and generally disgusting. Not Days Inn quality. The receptionist was very difficult to stand. They advertised an incorrect rate and told me the sign was broken but miraculously enough it was fixed in the morning.

The room was just barely cleaned, with a bathroom that was nominally passable. A bucket of bleach would've been GREAT for this room. The beds were plainly uncomfortable.

I booked the room first, then read the reviews. The low price lured me in. I was actually a little fearful after reading what others thought of the place. I needn't have worried. The room was totally adequate for our needs. We had no real problems with the place.

The room was small and the beds were a little mushy, but it worked for us. The motel is old and at the end of a long strip of lodging establishments and restaurants. I'm guessing this Days Inn is 35+ yrs. old, so of course, it's not as fancy as some of the newer places down the road.

Shower head was new, so that was a plus. We arrived on a Friday night and the motel was probably full that night, but on Saturday and Sunday, it cleared out quite a bit. The parking lot seemed a little small. We used the outdoor pool on a few occasions and it was nice.

I would recommend it, but only to folks who really care about saving money and don't want fancy.

This hotel is older and in need of some help. Rooms were clean and mostly functional with refridgerator and microwave. Beds were terrible - needs new mattresses - could feel every spring in mattress. Our shower did not work properly and no maintenance to help out - so asked desk for a screwdriver and fixed it myself - but front desk did not seem to concerned that we could not use the shower. This hotel did have a nice outdoor pool which appeared to be clean and fun for my kids.

Continental breakfast OK for our family.

Other than price - $40 for a Friday night I would not recommend staying here - there are nicer hotels at this exit in Dayton (but not quite so economical).
