Spent three nights at Ft. Oglethorpe Super 8 location for visiting attractions in surrounding areas. Checked everything as soon as we arrived. Found clean bathroom, linens, mattress & bedcovers, carpet, etc. Room even smelled fresh & clean -- was cleaned daily & our beds were always neatly made upon our return every afternoon. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot (coffee, tea bags, & condiments were furnished) came in handy during our stay. Staff members were friendly & courteous. Good continential breakfast every morning. Kids enjoyed swimming in pool. Best deal in area for our money. Recommended to friends & will stay again! Overall A+ for motel in this area.

We had a wonderful stay at our hotel. It was easy to locate. Great friendly service. I even had a problem, one of my rooms was booked as a smoking and the other non and they were both supposed to be non smoking. They caught the mistake and brought it to my attention and corrected it right away. They had a wonderful staff with a great attitude. Will definitely consider them when I go back to Chattanooga or any where nearby.

My stay here at this Super 8 was one of mixed experiences. I'll give you a basic pros/cons breakdown:

Pros:
Inexpensive
Good location
Rarely fully booked
Comfy beds

Cons:
Cleanliness is subpar
Service is sloppy and poorly trained (most of staff were new immigrants that knew little english)
Rooms were never cleaned in our 3 night stay
Place looks run down even though it's not very old

All in all I think you could do better unless you're strapped for cash and you absolutely need a place to stay. Pretty cheap to stay here, and the King room with the hot tub is really nice, but otherwise keep looking.

As a former hotel manager, I checked the room for cleanliness as soon as we walked in the door. The room was spotless. It was close to restaurants, stores, and downtown Chattanooga. Great value for the money. Would definitely stay again if in the area!!
