We were visiting family for the holidays, we stayed at the Inn due to our reservations for
Christmas dinner. Christmas dinner was just the worst I have ever experienced in my entire
life. Food was COLD, service was beyond bad and the rooms were discusting!!!!!! I understand
this property is historcal but give me a break, if you can not afford to take care of it get out of the hotel business. Pierpont was recommended by family who had dinner there last year, they
had such a wonderful time couldn't stop talking about it. The whole family was so disappointed
we shoud have had dinner at home. DO NOTspend your hard earned money here it will be
wasted!!!!!!! I do not usually complain about much but this was just the worst!!!!!

We went to the Pierpont Inn for Christmas dinner. It is under new management and the setting is just beautiful. The food was mostly cold and odd (for $75 per person) while the service was slow and terrible. They had canned Christmas music playing. We won't go back.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we thought it was great! I LOVED the bed - one of those isotherapeudicsomething or other. I don't know if every room has one - I think they do - but ours was great. The room layout was nice, too, and the proximity of the freeway wasn't a problem regarding noise. I couldn't figure out the bidet in the bathroom, but it looked cool.

We didn't have our wedding here, but we walked around in the morning and it's got a nice overlook toward the ocean. We agreed to try and spend an anniversary here - possibly at one of the cottages on site. I didn't get a look inside, but they look charming from the outside. Didn't get around to playing tennis - was a little busy in the morning. Maybe next time!

If you like nostalgia this is a good place to stay. We love history so for us the Pierpont was a good choice as it had a clean, comfortable room, a yummy complimentary breakfast and lots of old stories. We only stayed one night and were too tired to make it out for dinner so we ate at the restaraunt on property. When we first sat down I thought we had made a mistake, but the dinner was excellent and the price was super. The only slightly negative thing I can say is the room we had was next to the highway and a little noisy, but we turned on the A/C fan and slept well. The staff were friendly and actually gave us a better deal on the room rate than we expected, and when you are traveling all the budget help you can get is nice. This is not the most updated inn we've stayed at, but what you might sacrafice in decor is made up for in price and convenience.
