For $52, the room was nice and clean. This place was standard renovated La Quinta, with the black and white tiled bathroom floor and room walls in various shades of white. Everything worked, including wi-fi. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. All basic needs were well-met.
Breakfast was adequate but I've seen La Quintas do much better. Instead of waffle machines there were pre-packaged toster waffles which were surprisingly good but odd.
There were just enough minor issues to make this place not worth more than about $60 per night. Among them: old-style hole-punched key cards, a cramped breakfast and lobby area, very small bathrooms, and a room heating unit with an automated fan that turned on and off throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep.
This motel covered the basics quite well and was a very good value. For some reason, I just couldn't get comfortable.
