“OK, I guess”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2011

I will prefise this by saying, this is El Paso. The thing I liked about the hotel was the table was missing to the outside chairs. I fund that funny and alarming. They did have a security guard who told me to go stay in my room after dark. Once again, funny and alarming. Our room (#126) smelled of lots of wet dead animals, so that was not good either. Do not take this room, if offered.

Everyone at the hotel was really nice. The breakfast was a decent free breakfast. Not great, but not terrible. Had Fruit and stuff. Was not the best, but no one died, like my room.

Stay here if you have to be in El Paso, but drive to another town if you can.

“You get what you pay for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

The hotel was clean and good for an overnight stay, however if you have high standards you might want to stay elsewhere. it's your basic hotel and bathroom was very clean. The morning breakfast was a bit underwhelming but we were 10 minutes late to breakfast (it ends at 9). Staff was indifferent but not rude. Overall, good for a place to sleep if that's all you're looking for.

“Average at Best”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2011

Slightly run down hotel, however for the price: $65, average at best.
Rooms were clean enough, however, you can hear the traffic from the interstate.
The plus was he Denny's about 30 yards from the hotel. The receptionist was friendly and professional.....And he looked like Mike Tyson!

“I don't think it's a 2 1/2 star!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2011

We were traveling through Texas and I booked this room on Priceline. Didn't get a good deal, in fact, I could have walked in and gotten it cheaper! The place is a bit run down but the room was clean. We had to wait for a few minutes to get checked in as the person was new. He was friendly though. I asked if we could have a king room and he asked the manager, who said we couldn't because we had booked through Priceline. If the place would have been full, I would have understood but it didn't seem too booked! Other hotel chains have been very good about this but this manager said she couldn't do it. We were given two beds "because we specified it" even though I told her we had no choice when booking.

Bedding was clean and comfortable enough. There was a small fridge and microwave in the room. The vanity is outside of the small bathroom, which I like! Everything seemed clean. The outside of the hotel seemed much more shabby than the rooms. Nice flat screen tv. Left too early to get the breakfast. Rooms are not very sound proof. Heard a lot of noise from outside.

On the front desk they had a sign stating that if we showed our room key at Denny's, we could get 20% off. It's right there as part of the property so we ate dinner there. No one in Denny's seemed to know about the sign so they didn't honor it. Wasn't a big deal, but we thought it was strange.

I just don't think the property is up to the 2 1/2 star rating that they have on Priceline.

“Clean spacious room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 July 2011

Chose this motel for location, price, and reviews. The room was very clean and spacious. Wonderful shower, but the towels were extremely thin. The entrance to the hotel from the feeder road was cramped and parking somewhat tight. If one gets the second floor, they could have a long walk to the room as the stairs are not conveniently located for some of the rooms. Breakfast area small and not a lot of variety of choices, but was clean. Personnel friendly. "High speed" Internet is questionable. Was able to get on. I did lose it a few times, and it was slow. I always say "high speed" is relative.

Room Tip: Request a bottom floor.
