The hotel was warm and welcoming to us. We especially enjoyed the staff member Carol A who was friendly and made excellent recommendations. Our stay in El Paso was very enjoyable.

I could not select one category because my comments refer to everything from shuttle, to service, to management to housekeeping ... this is regarding the entire stay.

I have never had a better stay at a hotel in my life. The HS staff at the El Paso hotel were the most friendly, professional, personable hospitality staff members as a group that I have even encountered. From the airport shuttle that was on time, the driver was informative and helpful (and would not accept a tip so we know she was just doing her job!), to the check-in staff who took care of us immediately and well to our satisfaction when we realized we did not get the room we had initially reserved, to the shuttle providers who took is anywhere we needed to go and fast (sun bowl, restaurants, etc.) we were more than please. The room was kept well, the facility was very nice, the front desk staff offered to do things for us that hotel staff no longer do for people (call restaurants and help make reservations, etc.) . Your people there are phenomenal and should be commended for all of their efforts!

Even the shampoo and conditional is good quality!

I told my husband that I want to stay at HS whenever we travel. Please be sure to share the skills and professionalism of the EL Paso staff with the rest of the HS staff throughout the globe ... your El Paso team has set the bar high.

We went to El Paso for the Sun Bowl and i fell in love with the area ... I am sure it is because we were so well taken care of at HS. We will probably visit the city again ..,. if everyone stays at HS in EP the city will have an economic boom for sure ... hard to stay away when you have such a fantastic time!

I planned to stay for one week. I called in reservation and secured with credit card. I was booked into the handicap room #101 which is inches away from night exit / entrance door. I could hear trucks roaring down the freeway all night long and the exit door slammed constantly... I am NOT a sensitive sleeper. For example, the week before I slept soundly in a downtown San Franciso hotel and often travel to New York and other "noisy " cities. Well, this was the worse noise experience I have had since a dump I stayed at for one hour in Peru before transferring to an upscale hotel. I called the front desk and was told "sorry" and that a better room would be held for the next day. Since they market a guarantee or money back you would think they would offer to adjust rate down or refund for a sleepless nightmare. Trying to be patient, I watched tv at 3 a.m. and thought I would microwave the popcorn they left in the complimentary basket. Well, there was no microwave in room... Tired and hungry - not what I expect from Hilton. They offered nothing... no adherence to policy. I dont care about the money; however, I do care about the principal and lack of customer care. I should not have to haggle for adherence to policy. So, I checked out and moved to a better hotel. Stay at Airport Marriott or Hyatt Place for a better experience. Happy travels :o)

Homewood Suites El Paso Airport

This location is now part of our corporate agreement so I was excited to have a reasonable priced HHonors property available in El Paso. I usually stay at a Holiday Inn Express a few miles east, and honestly will continue to do so, even though I prefer HHonors brands. This Homewood Suites was just not what I expected. (And I stay at a lot of Homewood Suites)

Upon pulling into the parking lot you can tell that the hotel is new, but I am unsure how new. The lobby is in good condition and very welcoming. On the first floor is the breakfast area as well as the area that serves evening hospitality M-Th. Also there is a nice business center with two PC's, though only one is hooked up to the printer. There is also a guest laundry facility, nice swimming pool, hot tub, miniature golf green, and grill. The staff was acceptable, as was the breakfast. I did not partake of the evening food. There is a convenience store / pantry next to the front desk.

There is an adequate exercise room, though I was very disappointed that it lacked an exercise bicycle. There are two treadmills, an elliptical, and some weights and medicine balls. The equipment does have TV's built into them, which is nice.

My room was a King room with a separate living room. The air conditioner in the bedroom portion of the room did not work. Tried to get another room but they were "all sold out" I finally fixed the AC myself. They brought me a fan, nice….how about getting the AC fixed. The rooms are where not well laid out. You could not watch TV from the work desk, there was not an appropriate chair on the work desk so for a business traveler it was less than ideal. Rooms have a microwave, refrigerator, stovetop, and dishwasher. comfortable climate control system. Room was spotless, smelled fresh and had nice pillows.

I left two messages to have the General Manager call me, which never happened, quality service at its best. Front desk staff in the morning was nowhere to be found. (Waited 10 minutes and just left)

The biggest disappointment of the hotel, the traffic noise was some of the worst I have ever had at a hotel. All night long constant traffic noise. You would think that a new hotel would be better insulated against the noise.
