i travel close to 300 days a year i am diamond member with hilton,plaitum member with priority, and gold member with marriott i always stay someplace for at least 20 days i like homewood suites but i cant ever get a room there because they dont offer the 88$ perdeim rate they always say the alternate rate which is 99$ so if you are traveveling to ft bliss on orders or with DOD DONT EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO GET A ROOM THERE. because they wont go to the 88$ rate which is to bad because i know that embassy suites has at anyone time 15to25 goverment employs staying there for 88$ a night for at least 20-30 days at a time.

The good or Pros: The hotel clean, pleasant staff, great location for shopping. Nice size suite (eventually).

The Cons: Myself and significant other arrived an hour early due to the time zone change and the hotel only had a couple rooms ready. Although you'd think by then they would with only an hour before official check in they would have rooms ready for guest. We were told that a king suite (living room and bedroom with kitchen was ready) we went to the room to discover it was a studio not 2 separate rooms. My mate and I said had reserved a king suite. We told the front desk clerk we would come back in a couple hours after check in who had assured us we would get a king suite. We came back were given room keys to discover that once again we were entering a studio OMG! by this time we were irritated after a VERY long drive in bad weather conditions. Finally on the third time we were placed in a king suite. I will say they offered us a lower rate and ended up discounting the room for the trouble.

There should be a chart with the room floor plans at the front desk make sure the room you pay for is the room you get. Otherwise what you don't know they will not tell you. luckily we had stayed at a Homewood suite before and knew the different room floor plans.

I'd only recommend this hotel for the convenience of shopping in the area. We enjoyed the nearby mall.

The hotel was warm and welcoming to us. We especially enjoyed the staff member Carol A who was friendly and made excellent recommendations. Our stay in El Paso was very enjoyable.

I could not select one category because my comments refer to everything from shuttle, to service, to management to housekeeping ... this is regarding the entire stay.

I have never had a better stay at a hotel in my life. The HS staff at the El Paso hotel were the most friendly, professional, personable hospitality staff members as a group that I have even encountered. From the airport shuttle that was on time, the driver was informative and helpful (and would not accept a tip so we know she was just doing her job!), to the check-in staff who took care of us immediately and well to our satisfaction when we realized we did not get the room we had initially reserved, to the shuttle providers who took is anywhere we needed to go and fast (sun bowl, restaurants, etc.) we were more than please. The room was kept well, the facility was very nice, the front desk staff offered to do things for us that hotel staff no longer do for people (call restaurants and help make reservations, etc.) . Your people there are phenomenal and should be commended for all of their efforts!

Even the shampoo and conditional is good quality!

I told my husband that I want to stay at HS whenever we travel. Please be sure to share the skills and professionalism of the EL Paso staff with the rest of the HS staff throughout the globe ... your El Paso team has set the bar high.

We went to El Paso for the Sun Bowl and i fell in love with the area ... I am sure it is because we were so well taken care of at HS. We will probably visit the city again ..,. if everyone stays at HS in EP the city will have an economic boom for sure ... hard to stay away when you have such a fantastic time!

Despite the cold weather we enjoyed one of our best new years ever. Thank you!
