Stayed there briefly front desk was dirty and not friendly at all if that's your first impression what more could I expect the room was handicap did not like that I thought that was for handicap people only it sad couse if they needed that room we would have to move but oh well so much for customer service right

This hotel was fine for the price. Neighborhood seemed okay. The pool is filled with trash and leaves, so don't plan on swimming. The rooms are cozy. The TV is dated with the occasional line running through it. The bathroom shower head barely squirts the water out and there are a few stray hairs on the floor leftover from the last guest. The breakfast is scary. Various breads/muffins in ziplock baggies that look like they came from someones home the night before. Front desk girl had a very dirty shirt and didn't care at all about my shower, go figure. It was relatively cheap though, so who cares? (We paid $64 for 4 people). Overall, seeing what I seen in El Paso, TX this will do just fine on our next trip through.

when i arrived there was no one at the front desk. The teenager/young lady that finally came after ringing the bell looked like I was interrupting her day. She was not friendly, she did not tell me the pool was closed in the June and over 100 degrees. No "welcome information' the breakfast was muffins, bagels and bread that was purchased in bulk then separated and put into zip lock bags, very tacky. do all employees really wear the gloves when making up the zip lock breakfast? no microwaves/refrigerators in the rooms. I guess i really got what i paid for.. the location was perfect for my purpose of visiting El Paso....I will not stay here on my next visit ~

This was my first stay in a Microtel Inn. I chose it because of Consumer Reports glowing review for people on a budget. The pros: price -- AAA rate with tax --$58. The bedding was nice and comfortable. The towels were big and fluffy. Staff was very pleasant. The room was new and spotless. Cons: Lots of highway noise. I should have paid a little more and reserved a suite. I suspect that they are on the non-highway side of the building. In a room with one queen bed, you don't get a coffeemaker or refrigerator (the clerk said only the suites get coffeemakers). But the good news is we went to Starbucks down the street, using the money we saved!
For one night, it was perfect.
