El Paso is filled with lower end hotel chains and there isn't much to be had for great hotel rooms. This Hyatt is fairly new, has great rooms....big beds, huge flat screen TV, kitchenette, large sectional type sofa. The bathroom was a little smaller than expected but more than sufficient for necessities. I did like the separate vanity/sink area outside the bathroom, so I could finish getting ready while hubby showered.
I was impressed that when we came back the maid had made our bed and placed our clothes and belongings neatly around the room. Most places, your stuff stays where its at and they clean around it. Some people might not like their stuff touchd, but I appreciated my makeup & toiletries arranged neatly on the sink and my clothes folded neatly on the couch. This might just be the individual maid and not the entire staff's management direction, so I tipped her well for it.
The bed, linens and pillows were clean, heavenly soft and luxorious! The complimentary breakfast is what you'd expect in a chain of this calibur. The staff was very friendly and made you feel VIP.
The hotel is in a convenient location and has nice mountain, El Paso Star & night lights views. Don't be put off by "Airport" in the name. Its a few exits away and not right at the airport, so no noisy plane traffic to deal with. There may be better in El Paso, but this has been our best hotel stay so far.
