We stayed at the ASYMCA during our pcs into El Paso. We are very dissappointed in the stay. The staff is very unprofessional when we went to complain about the maids not servicing the room the manager actually told the maid how we were "complaining". The maid then came straight to our room and demanded to know why we were "complaining about her work" as she stated and said she did service our towels and take our trash what more would we want!! It only gets worse from here.
The staff only spoke in spanish when in the hotel lobby and breakfast/conference room. We also heard them complaining to one another about the "horrilbe" guests who are "always complaining" coming to the counter to make another complaint!!!! I even had to mop my own floor in my room because the staff refused to do so!! I also found out that they only change the sheets not the cover or mattress pad and not even those every day!! I have never been in a hotel that says u have to request service to have your room cleaned and if not then they will not clean your room.
For breakfast they let the staff eat the food before the guests. I have been in to the breakfast when there wasn't any milk for the cereal, the maids refused to put out more waffle batter for the waffle maker, all of the bread was gone for the toast, the juice was so watered down that it tasted like water but had a yellow color, and the only thing to eat was the cereal which as i stated before there was no milk for.
You cannot complain to the managment for fear of retaliation and also because they will flat out refuse to see to your request anyway!! I have never stayed at a military hotel that is so bad I will NEVER stay here again and am complaining to the post!! If you want to stay here just expect to have very poor service, no breakfast, and to be treated horrible by an unprofessional staff. Hope this helped you make up your mind in your stay!!

We stayed at this hotel while we were pcsing and staff was very friendly. They have a continental breakfast with many choices. We stayed in a pet room and it was very clean. Hotel is located near restaurants and near Fort Bliss. We had no problems and we would return again.

Stayed at this hotel while my military husband was recuperating from a military related injury. I was grateful that we were able to be with my him during this time. That being said, I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone! The room was ok. After all, I was not expecting it to be like a 5 star resort. However, there was only one person on staff that even smiled at us during our entire 5 week stay. Everyone of the front desk staff was rude, which doesn't surprise me since the manager was the rudest of all of them. She even came into our room while we were out and went through our things.
If you don't mind any of these things, then it is an alright place to stay for the price. I, however, will be staying at the Ft. lodging if I ever return to the El Paso area.
