This was an awful experience. Went to El Paso to visit my niece who is in the Army and stationed at Ft. Bliss. Thought the Hampton Inn might be a good choice since they are a Hilton Property and we have had good experiences with Hilton.

The first room we were given, the water didn't work in the bathroom sink (!). So they moved us - to a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. Smoking is illegal in hotels in Texas, by the way. We ended up staying, but I was sick (I have asthma) for two nights. We were supposed to stay a third night, but I couldn't take any more and we left to drive back to Tucson.

Beds were uncomfortable.

The breakfast was only ok. Barely.

I was on a business trip and made the mistake to book this place. The staff was the rudest and most incompetent I have ever encountered anywhere in the world, so in the end I actually left and went to another place. I complained to management and received another rude comment, which made me cancel my frequent traveler account and I also removed this chain from the choices for my staff on business trips. That should tell you how bad my experience was. For that kind of money I expect an accommodating, decent and polite staff. Sadly, I found the opposite.

My stay wasn't bad but I'm glad it was only one night. The staff was very nice as was the shuttle service to the airport. There's a free, continental breakfast and manager's reception which are perks also.

The rooms are very small and in dire need of updates. The room I stayed in was moderately clean but if you looked under the sink and on the sides of the beds or near the outlets which were hard to get to- there was dust, dirt and neglect. I wouldn't walk barefoot in the room but the shower and bed seemed clean.

Again, for $88 and one evening- the stay was fine. I don't think I'd pay more or stay there longer than a night or two.

I stayed at this hotel for one night before flying home from a business trip, and it was fine for that purpose. The hotel was not as well kept as most Hampton Inns where I've stayed. Some things have been updated recently (bathroom tile, vanity, some fixtures), but most of the hotel needs to be updated. The carpet, in particular, needs to be replaced.

Again, it was fine for one night; however, I would look for another airport hotel before staying here again.
