After my mother's medical treatment at UAMS was extended an extra day, we found ourselves looking for a hotel. We had already checked out of the La Quinta Medical Center and didn't want to go back. I remembered a brochure that I saw at the hospital for medical rates at the Jameson, so we decided to check it out. We found it tucked behind a Courtyard by Marriot where I-630 turns into Financial Center Parkway in West Little Rock. This is very convenient to UAMS. The desk clerk and staff were very friendly and helpful. When the card key wouldn't open the door for the first room the clerk gave us on the 3rd floor, which was a no smoking room, we were moved across the hall to a smoking room. Fortunately, the room didn't really have the expected cigarette smell. The decor was dated and the beds weren't the most comfy, but the room was clean and spacious. The indoor corridors were also a plus. The only problem we had was weather related when line of severe storms came through the area producing several tornados. The power went out briefly around 2:00 a.m. The sound of hail hitting the winds woke us, then the power came back on. We had the option of going into the hallway or lower levels if we wanted, but decided to ride it out in our room. The next morning there was damage from the storms just a few blocks from the hotel. We didn't have time to eat the breakfast, but we went down to see if there was anything that we could grab to take with us. At 7:00 a.m., everything was already picked over and not replenished. We grabbed a couple of donuts and cup of OJ, then checked out. Overall, this was a pleasant stay and we'll likely stay here again when we have to return in 3 months.

I read many bad reviews about this hotel from many sites, but also some good ones. Ultimately I decided it seemed good enough, and for $56 with a AAA discount the price can't be beat. You know what you get for $56? Exactly what you pay for. Sure the building's completely run down, there are holes in the walls' plaster, lamps that don't work, a weird smell in the hallway a hard mattress, paper thin walls. However, the location is great for an out of towner (less than a mile from major stores like Best Buy, Walmart, JC Penny, tons of restaurants), and the rooms are huge. You can easily hear everyone around you, but with a room at the end of a hallway there was no one on the other side of our bed and rather quiet. This hotel is perfectly adequate, and the price can't be beat!

My wife, son, and I traveled from the Chicago area to San Antonio, Texas over the Christmas holiday. We decided that Little Rock, Arkansas would be a great midpoint to stop and rest for the night. Our stay at the Jameson Suites in Little Rock was an all around GREAT stay. Our room was very clean and quiet. We were able to get a good nights' rest. Breakfast was tasty, and there were adequate choices to choose from. From our check in to check out time, the staff was VERY accommodating! If you're looking for a clean room with great service, I recommend this hotel!

I was surprised to see people care about my stay as much as they did. I had a little problem with my room but management was quick to fix it and apologized right away. Maintenance was quick too. I will be back and look forward to my room on the first
floor..Thanks
